JUST IN: Veteran broadcaster and former Press Secretary Ricardo “Dong” Puno Jr. has passed away. He was 76.

Puno hosted public affairs programs in various television networks and wrote columns for newspapers. He became Press Secretary under the Estrada administration.
He was also the president of the Guagua National Colleges, serving from 2008 until his retirement in 2012.

Jose Maria Canlas Sison (born February 8, 1939), also known by his nickname Joma, is a Filipino writer and activist who founded the Communist Party of the Philippines and added elements of Maoism to its philosophy — which would be known as national democracy. He applied the theory of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism to the history and current circumstances of the Philippines. There has been rumors circulating that said Joma Sison has apparently died as of 11pm of February 6, 2022. THIS IS STILL UNCONFIRMED, WE HAVE YET TO SEE ANY OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT.
As of 12:07am of February 7, We have yet to see any official announcement from his organization(s), or any credible sources confirming his appointment as a good communist.
We will still follow this rumor considering that due to his old age, the rumors might be true. But as of now, Joma Sison is NOT DEAD.
