 Ally* was hanging out with a friend when she was first told about a popular adult webcam and livestreaming site. She says she really wasn’t into posting sexy or provocative videos, but after trying it out one time, she was shocked when “many” people started following her page on the site. 


It’s a similar story with Gina*.

“I've known about [adult webcam site] for a while now and have had a page for a long time but I never posted,” Ally says. “I just started using it since lockdown began and I absolutely love my salary now.”

Ally and Gina are just two of the Filipino models on the “camming” site, where models strip or dance on camera to an audience composed of subscribers. These subscribers then offer tips to the models, which are then generally split between the site and the model.

According to the site about 50 percent of its top models are Filipinas and make good money, earning as much as $40,000 (over P2 million) every month. In some cases, the models offer the videos for sale and, depending on the model, they may also entertain private video calls.

Gina reveals she earns $10,000 to $30,000 (about P500,000 to P1.5 million) every pay check doing what she does. Ally meanwhile says she’s taken home a total of P3 million over the one year that she’s been performing on the site.

When San Miguel big boss Ramon Ang was asked about his favorite basketball player, he chose someone who has already retired but is very much a revered figure in the country.

“Pumili ako ng retired na para walang magalit sa akin,” Ang said in jest during a recent interview with Summit Media editors and reporters.

His pick? Robert Jaworski.

Known as the Living Legend, Jaworski played for 14 of his 23 years in the PBA with Barangay Ginebra, one of the three franchises that the San Miguel Corporation owns. During the early days of the ballclub, Ginebra was able to carve out its personality in the league as the ‘Never-Say-Die’ team.

That culture rubbed off even when San Miguel was able to acquire the Ginebra brand from the Palanca family during the 1980s to become the most popular team in the PBA until today.

Ang said the popular Jaworski is his favorite because of his lengthy career in the PBA that also saw him become the player-coach of the Gin Kings before retiring in 1997 when he was 51 years old.

1 pc Onion
2 pcs Tomato
2 pcs Ginger
2 pcs Red And Green Chili
1 pc Whole Chicken
1 tbsp Patis
1 L Water
1 cup Tamarind Leaves
1 cup Sitaw





Instruction
Step1: 5 Min Heat oil in a pot and sauté onion, tomato, ginger and finger chili for 5 minutes.
Step2: 10 Min Add chicken and fish sauce. Cover and cook for 10 minutes while stirring every few minutes. 
Step3: 15 Min Pour water, bring to a boil and skim the scum. Stir in tamarind leaves and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step4: 2 Min Add sitaw and simmer for 2 minutes.
