Antibodies from Sinovac Vaccine Fade After About 6 Months: Study

Antibodies triggered by Sinovac Biotech's COVID-19 vaccine declined below a key threshold from around six months after a second dose for most recipients, but a third shot had a strong booster effect, a lab study showed. Chinese researchers reported the findings from a study of blood samples from healthy adults aged between 18-59 in a paper published on Sunday, which has not been peer-reviewed. Among participants who received two doses, two or four weeks apart, only 16.9% and 35.2% respectively still had neutralizing antibodies above a threshold set by researchers, below which the antibody level is considered low or undetectable, six months after the second shot, the paper said. Those readings were based on data from two cohorts involving more than 50 participants each, while the study gave third doses of the vaccine or placebo to a total of 540 participants. Researchers said it was unclear how the decrease in antibodies would affect the shot's effectiveness since scientists have yet to figure out precisely the threshold of antibody levels for a vaccine to be able to prevent the disease. Apart from durable antibodies, other components in humans immune systems such as T cells and B cell memory elicited by the vaccine may also contribute to protection, researchers involved in the study said, although the study did not provide data on those factors. "In the short-to-medium term, ensuring more people complete the current two-dose schedule of CoronaVac (Sinovac's vaccine) should be the priority," the paper said. Participants in some cohorts who received a third dose of the Sinovac shot about six months after the second showed around a 3-5 fold increase in antibody levels after a further 28 days, compared with the levels seen four weeks after the second shot. As of end-June, Sinovac has delivered more than 1 billion doses of the vaccine, a major vaccination tool in China, Brazil, Indonesia, and Chile. Other COVID-19 vaccine makers are seeking to get authorization for booster shots. Pfizer and partner BioNTech said earlier this month they had planned to ask U.S. and European regulators within weeks to authorize a booster dose of its COVID-19 vaccine, based on evidence of greater risk of infection six months after inoculation and the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, a senior health ministry official in Indonesia, told Reuters on Tuesday that clinical data from the country showed the reduced antibody level is still enough to provide protection, without providing details. She said the immunization advisory board recommends a booster vaccination 12 months after the second dose. Indonesia has started giving booster shots produced by Moderna to medical workers this month, including those who had received Sinovac doses. Philippines' Health Secretary Francisco Duque said on Tuesday there is no recommendation yet from the country's vaccine expert panel on giving a booster shot but experts are discussing the possibility. Turkey has already started offering a third dose from either Sinovac or Pfizer to some people who have got Sinovac shots. The research paper on Sinovac's vaccine said that the study did not test the antibodies' effect against more transmissible variants and that further research was needed to assess antibody duration after a third shot.

NILUTO NYA ANG KANYANG ASAWA UPANG IPAKAIN SA MGA ANAK

Katherine Knight Slaughtered Her Boyfriend And Made Him Into Stew. Abattoir worker Katherine Knight became the first female in Australia to receive a life sentence without parole after she decapitated and cooked her boyfriend James Price. Born on October 5, 1955, in Moree, New South Wales, Knight was the product of a scandalous affair between her mother, Barbara Roughan, and her father, Ken Knight. Roughan, already a mother of four boys, met Knight through her former husband. When their secret rendezvous came to light, it rocked the conservative town they resided in. Already a tumultuous start to life, Knight’s chaotic childhood continued as such. Her father was a violent alcoholic who raped her mother multiple times a day. Knight herself also claims that she was sexually assaulted by several family members until the age of 11. In school, Knight was known as a bully who terrorized smaller children. Without ever learning how to read or write, she quit at the age of 15 to work at a clothing factory. A year later, she landed her “dream job” at a slaughterhouse cutting out the internal organs of animals. Journalist Peter Lalor wrote in Bloodstain, his true-crime book on Katherine Knight, that she loved her job so much that she hung her first set of butcher’s knives over her bed — just in case she ever needed them. While working in the butcher shop, Knight met David Kellett, a raging alcoholic much like her father who was prone to fistfights whenever the opportunity presented itself. Used to this kind of violence, Knight surprised her new beau when she joined in on one of his drunken scuffles. He soon realized, however, that Knight was capable of doing more than a little damage with her fists. Before long was finding himself being dominated by her.

In 1974, she convinced him to marry her. He was heavily intoxicated the entire time and her mother even warned him about her daughter’s temper, saying that Knight had “a screw loose somewhere.” On their wedding night, Knight and Kellett consummated their marriage three times. When he fell asleep, Knight took issue with her new husband’s premature exhaustion and started to strangle him. Thankfully, Kellett woke up and managed to fight Knight off. Even though she attempted to kill him only one day into their marriage, the union lasted for 10 more years. The marriage was, however, far from perfect. Kellett developed a nasty habit for being unfaithful, and once even left his wife and their two daughters in the middle of the night. After discovering one of Kellett’s affairs, Knight placed their 2-month-old infant on a railway line and then threatened several people with a stolen ax. She was diagnosed with postnatal depression after witnesses saw her violently pushing and swinging her second child in a stroller down a busy street. She spent a few months in a psychiatric hospital, where she told nurses that she intended to kill a mechanic who had fixed Kellett’s car because that made it possible for him to leave her. Despite this threat, Kellett took Knight back when she was released from the hospital. Their reunion didn’t last long, and Knight went through a period of deep distress after Kellett finally left her.

Dating viva hot babe, sumabak sa p*rn industry

Ally* was hanging out with a friend when she was first told about a popular adult webcam and livestreaming site. She says she really wasn’t into posting sexy or provocative videos, but after trying it out one time, she was shocked when “many” people started following her page on the site.

It’s a similar story with Gina*.

“I've known about [adult webcam site] for a while now and have had a page for a long time but I never posted,” Ally says. “I just started using it since lockdown began and I absolutely love my salary now.”

Ally and Gina are just two of the Filipino models on the “camming” site, where models strip or dance on camera to an audience composed of subscribers. These subscribers then offer tips to the models, which are then generally split between the site and the model.

According to the site about 50 percent of its top models are Filipinas and make good money, earning as much as $40,000 (over P2 million) every month. In some cases, the models offer the videos for sale and, depending on the model, they may also entertain private video calls.

Gina reveals she earns $10,000 to $30,000 (about P500,000 to P1.5 million) every pay check doing what she does. Ally meanwhile says she’s taken home a total of P3 million over the one year that she’s been performing on the site.

Ramon Ang Reveals His Favorite Basketball Player

When San Miguel big boss Ramon Ang was asked about his favorite basketball player, he chose someone who has already retired but is very much a revered figure in the country.

Pumili ako ng retired na para walang magalit sa akin,” Ang said in jest during a recent interview with Summit Media editors and reporters.

His pick? Robert Jaworski.

Known as the Living Legend, Jaworski played for 14 of his 23 years in the PBA with Barangay Ginebra, one of the three franchises that the San Miguel Corporation owns. During the early days of the ballclub, Ginebra was able to carve out its personality in the league as the ‘Never-Say-Die’ team.

That culture rubbed off even when San Miguel was able to acquire the Ginebra brand from the Palanca family during the 1980s to become the most popular team in the PBA until today.

Ang said the popular Jaworski is his favorite because of his lengthy career in the PBA that also saw him become the player-coach of the Gin Kings before retiring in 1997 when he was 51 years old.

"This man was scheduled to go into surgery to avoid losing his foot (due to diabetes) but chose instead to start fasting. After a seven-day dry fast (no food, no water) he lost 35 lbs and his foot has healed like crazy. - Andre Angelantoni

I know this is true because when my left leg and ankle and foot looked even worse than this and was three times its normal size (cellulitis), the best medicine I ever took was no medicine at all. It was fasting.
When you stop filling your face with food and drink, the body is now given the the energy it needs away from digestion to heal. The the body requires both time and energy to heal. It always knows exactly what it needs to do to clean, repair and rebuild itself.
The body uses cholesterol, water (edema), and calcium it pulls from bone to protect its precious cells from acids that destroy it. These are the body's three main antacids. As part of the healing process, his body rid itself of all the excess water (edema) it had been holding onto which explains the weight loss. I have experienced this myself as my body uses water (edema) to fight acidosis.
For anyone who has never dry fasted: It is something you should always work your way up to. Start out with intermittent dry fasting (first 6, then 12 and up to 18 hours a day) in between meals." - Karen Lee

Aniya: “If other people are mentioned who are not part of this project, wala na kaming dalawa kailangang sabihin pa. There’s nothing that we need to clean in the first place. Happy kami! Happy kami!”

“I will not fail you. I will not fail the Filipino people. We will not fail you. This is our last hurrah in public service, there is no room for selfish interests or personal motives,” seryosong pananalita ni Lacson sa panayam sa kanya ng DWIZ radio nitong Sabado.

“We have no other agenda. Considering our age and track record in public service, we have something to offer the Filipino people,” dagdag ni Lacson.

What is right must be kept right; what is wrong must be set right.”

nang graft and corruption.

“The top priority in these trying times is the pandemic. There are things to be attended to with urgency. For example, we have not been proactive in responding to the pandemic that hit us way back in January 2020,” banggit ng mambabatas.

“After I got elected as a senator of the Republic, whenever I am confronted with a similar question about the biggest problem of government, my response has not changed – it is government, bad government. And, the solution lies in the face of the problem itself – it is called good government,” pagbabalik-tanaw ni Lacson.

“Unless government officials see people at the top practicing what they preach, any effort to fight graft and corruption will not succeed,” pahabol ni Lacson.
